Wetlands 4WD Adventure
Take off on a self-guided 4WD adventure to the seasonal wetlands, view resident & migratory birds and enjoy a walk through the shady woodlands. Remember the binoculars & camera! Guided tours are available, enquire at the office.
Cane River Mouth
Travel cross-country on a self-guided 4WD adventure to the mouth of the Cane River. Launch a canoe and explore upstream for birds, fish & mudcrabs, or launch a dinghy and go downstream to local fishing grounds or free-diving in shallows around the offshore islands. Or take a picnic and enjoy the scenery and the sounds of local bird life.
Head to the Coast
Go west on a self-guided 4WD adventure to the coast, walk the shoreline, try some fishing, explore for mudcrabs and oysters, or relax by the sea. Remember to fish responsibly – taking only what you can eat today.
Day Trip to Onslow
Take the day off and visit Onslow, walk the ruins of Old Onslow, view the hundreds of termite mounds, fish the creek or enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk - but be sure to call in to the Onslow Visitor Centre for a list of attractions and activities!
At night, marvel at the expansive Pilbara sky, where billions of stars sparkle like diamonds on a sheet of black velvet.
On occasion, the Parker family will host visitors around the campground fire pit to share stories about life on Peedamulla and of time gone by.
